• Movement: gilded full plate, verge escapement, decoratively pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation plate, fusee and chain, cylindrical pillars, signed L'Epine à Paris, numbered between the plates 468

• Dial: white enamel, Roman numerals, Arabic outer minute ring, aperture for winding, fancy beetle and poker hands, signed L'Epine à Paris

• Case: gold, the back with chequered design composed of black enamel squares centrally set with off-set translucent red enamel squares, all within a stylised gilt foliate grid, a white roundel within each corner, pendant with control marks, inside case back numbered 5581
