Description
La Tâche 2007
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti
Côte de Nuits, Grand Cru
Excellent levels, labels very slightly marked, 1 slightly soiled, bottle numbers 07355 and 06845, UK back labels; Excellents niveaux, étiquettes très légèrement tachées, 1 légèrement sale
A lovely, open-textured nose of roses, even rose-hips. Quite marked acidity at this early stage, followed by sweetness. Cristal purity. A real juiciness and a certain "filigree" character. Almost a touch of lemon at the end - I have never noticed that before. Later, it becomes much fuller and more briary. A total liquorice mouthful. Melting and fresh at the same time.
