Description
Château Margaux 1983
Margaux, 1er Cru Classé
u. bn, label slightly soiled and peeling right side; Etiquette légèrement sale et déchirée sur le côté droit
In 2021, a wonderful colour, seemingly ever-deepening. A real blackcurrant nose, intense, pure and healthy. One is hit by the exuberant flavour on the palate, a wine of immense stature, luscious blueberry opulence and sheer class. This is glossy, shiny and absolutely show-stopping. The first vintage of the late, great Paul Pontallier and what a legacy this is. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
