Description

Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2000

Talence (Pessac-Léognan), Grand Cru Classé

Excellent levels, 4 labels with small nick including 1 very slightly scuffed, 1 with small creased at top edge; Excellents niveaux, 4 étiquettes avec petite entaille dont 1 très légèrement éraflée, 1 avec petit pli en bord supérieur

Merlot 58% , Cabernet Sauvignon 31%, Cabernet Franc 11%. In 2022, a fantastically 'earthy' nose, pure Pessac-Léognan, with surging black fruits and real majesty. On the palate, there is great tannic structure and power, with absolute juiciness that is quite astonishing. This is sensational wine, right at the summit for this glorious vintage. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
