In 2014, a marvellously aromatic, smoky, musky nose, full of complex promise. Tremendous coffee bean flavours, with damsons, cocoa and morello cherries, finishing on soft, smoky tannins. Serena Sutcliffe, MW

This is very much a living cellar and the selected wines represent only a small portion of the entire collection of this great French cellar. The owners, both world class Art collectors and “fin gourmet” have been celebrated hosts since the 1960s. The vast majority of these wines were sourced directly from the Châteaux and from the most reputable Bordeaux merchants. Together with some rare vintages of 1945 claret and 1967 d’ Yquem, the collection includes six rare magnums of Mouton d’Armailhac with no labels, believed to be from the 1916 vintage from the historical cellar book and direct from the Château
