Description

The square dial with baton hourmarkers, to a highly articulated strap, length approximately 188mm.

Accompanied by a document from Jaeger-LeCoultre.

In 1929 Jaeger-LeCoultre developed the smallest mechanical movement ever made, promoting the fashion for ladies to wear dainty jewellery watches. Indeed, it is known that Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II of England wore a Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 101 on the day of her Coronation in 1953. These pieces are highly desirable and the present example which features a beautifully articulated link bracelet stands as an example of timeless elegance and horological interest.
