Showa Period, 20th century
each of typical deep form on ring foot with impressed B.L. and St. Ives mark, the first with a dark brown tenmoku glaze and darker dripped glazes falling short of the ring foot, the second with a mottled greenish grey glaze extending onto the foot, brushed stylised grasses motif, each with fitted wood storage box (tomobako) signed and dated in sumi ink B.L.1967
