Two woodblock print triptychs

Edo period, 19th century


each a woodblock print, triptych, framed and glazed, and comprising: 

- Minamoto no Yoritomo's Hunting Party on the Plain of Mount Fuji (Minamoto no Yoritomo Fujino makigari no zu), each sheet signed Ipposai Yoshifuji ga, censor's seal Watari (Watanabe Jiemon), published by Izumiya Ichibei (Kansendo), circa 1843-45

- The Valour of Yoshitsune (Yoshitsune gunko no zu), each sheet signed Kuniteru ga, censor's seals Hama (Hama Yahei) and Kinugasa (Kinugasa Fusajiro), published by Yamamotoya Heikichi (Eikyudo), circa 1847-48
