Edo period, 19th century  

 

woodblock print, triptych, the right and left sheets signed Toyokuni ga (Pictured by Toyokuni) within toshidama cartouche, the centre sheet signed Oju Hiroshige hitsu (Brush of Hiroshige, by special request), censor’s seal aratame (certified), published by Moriya Jihei (Kinshindo), 12th month 1854 

 

Vertical oban triptych: each sheet approx. 36.7 x 25.3 cm., 14½ x 10 in.
