Since its initial publication, The Intelligent Investor has remained one of the most popular texts on the subject, with Warren E. Buffet deeming it "the best book on investing ever written." 

Graham is now regarded as the father of value investing, with Prof. Ronald Moy, noting: “The influence of Graham's methodology is indisputable. His disciples represent a virtual who's who of value investors, including Warren Buffett, Bill Ruane, and Walter Schloss”. Buffett is perhaps Graham’s best-known follower. A number of Graham’s strategies or theories outlined in the present work still remain relevant today.
