First edition of Steinbeck's Pulitzer Prize winning novel. Steinbeck's work portrayed the plight of a family of migrant workers searching for economic relief amongst the unforgiving terrain of the American West. Later made into film directed by John Ford in 1940 and widely taught in schools, the novel has cemented itself in the American conscience.
