This is a single-vineyard wine that emanates from the renowned Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard. A single-clone wine, it is composed entirely from the Entav-214 Clone which has origins in the Loire Valley.

The best aspect of the Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard is its ideal location;-a volcanic rock hillside with a southwestern exposure overlooking the northern reaches of San Francisco Bay. This cool-climate site produces Cabernet Franc of deep complexity, length and elegance.
