each modelled as a winged male (probably the allegory of Progress) the allegory of Progress and a female as an allegory of Fame figure holding aloft a candelabrum, on gilt-bronze griffin bases, the glass shades probably a replacement, fitted for electricity, stamped BOUCHON / PARIS to the back of the base
