A Georgian Silver Tea Caddy and Two Teapots, London, 1713-94


comprising: an octagonal vase-shaped tea caddy with sliding domed cover, by Ebenezer Roe, 1713; a plain bullet teapot with loose cover, marked on base and cover, by John Penfold, circa 1725 with earlier hallmarks to evade duty; and a drum-shaped teapot with narrow bright-cut borders and flat hinged cover, by Henry Chawner, 1794
