Grumman Gold Moon Tie Pin. 11/16 inches in diameter. Pin detached from back and not present. Obverse depicting lunar surface with enameled United States Flag in front, reverse depicting Grumman-built Lunar Module Eagle with inscription around outside reading, "1st Manned Lunar Landing/NASA Grumman."

GRUMMAN AEROSPACE GOLD LAPEL PIN GIVEN TO THE APOLLO 11 FLIGHT CREW, FLIGHT DIRECTORS, AND GRUMMAN AND NORTH AMERICAN ROCKWELL MANAGERS
Distributed by Jack Buxton, the Grumman representative in Houston, these gold pins (approx. 50) were given to the individuals above, whereas a brass version (approx. 500) was distributed to NASA Flight Operations and Apollo Program Office personal, as well as Grumman employees who worked on the Lunar Module.
