Bound with 25 further political pamphlets, Churchill's was the first of the series. Described as "a brief character sketch of a coming man, with his latest portrait, and a statement of his views upon a leading question of the day."


The series of pamphlets was later issued in book form, but this volume is a collection of the original pamphlets in their wrappers.
