Smith no.5, complete nine parts, 23, 17, 13, 13, 18, 18, 11, 4, 4 pages, folio (31.6 x 23.7cm), engraved throughout, a few contemporary annotations ("...Handel Op:a 3:a..."), Dolmetsch Library stamp and pencil shelfmark ("II D 23, 1 [...9]") to each part, manuscript Dolmetsch Library label to spines, disbound 


RARE. The celebrated Op.3 concerti grossi of Handel, first published by Walsh in 1734, contain some of the composer's finest and most arresting instrumental music.
