4to (180 x 131mm.), title printed in red and black, woodcut printer's device on title-page and a smaller one on final verso, woodcut initials and diagrams, folding woodcut and letterpress plate, nineteenth-century marbled boards, title-page repaired in gutter, a2 repaired at foredge just touching a few letters, c8 repaired at foot, binding slightly rubbed


The second edition of Lull's influential treatise, his logical system to reveal the truth to encourage intercultural and, more importantly at the time, interreligious relations, in order to help with missionary work. It was composed between 1305 and 1308, and first printed in 1501.
