of rectangular form, the fritware moulded and painted in underglaze cobalt blue, pink, turquoise and brown, outlined in black depicting Khosrow and an attendant on horseback spying Shirin bathing, set amidst a leafy glade with grape vines and palaces in the background, with a border of floral scrolls


40 by 52cm.
