Description
each with a thick leather sole, the outside finely embroidered with metal-thread, decorated with a central rosette flower and leaves springing from the same root, the sides with a zig-zag pattern, the inner sole with a metal-thread leafy stem
each 23cm.
A close comparable, with similar zig-zag pattern on the side and a central metal-thread rosette on the tip is now in the Sadberk Hanim Museum, Istanbul (inv. no.SHM 133333 – K631 4,b), published in Görünür 2014, p.123, no.34.
