Bhutan or South Tibet, 17th/18th century


distemper on cloth, with hands crossed at the wrist in prajnalinganabhinaya mudra holding the vajra and ghanta, and seated in vajraparyankasana on a lion throne surrounded by a lineage of Kagyu masters and Indian mahasiddhas, with Chakrasamvara below flanked by protector deities
