4to (218 x 156mm.), engraved title-page with a border of portraits of saints, woodcut initials and headpieces, full-page engraved illustrations, contemporary blind-tooled calf over wooden boards with a central Cupid stamp and ropework interlacing borders, binding rebacked and repaired with new pastedowns, lacking two pairs of ties

Second edition, after the 1593 Galignani printing. The engravings are by the Urbino artist Giacomo Franco.
