The precise equilateral, triangular, pricked designs on the present jar demonstrated the potter's thorough mastering and deft execution of the symmetrical decoration on a curved surface. Closely related examples can be found among the collections of the Xian Banpo Museum. 

本盆錐刺紋呈等邊三角形，曲面之上施加對稱紋飾，展現陶匠巧手造詣。西安半坡博物館出土作例與本盆相近。
