The America's Signatures for Freedom collection is a tribute to the commitment for freedom by Presidents of the United States of America. In recognition of the 50 states, the James Madison Edition, as the fourth in the collection, is strictly limited to 50 pieces. The wooden inlays symbolize the pillars of his Montpelier estate and emphasize the delicate character of this writing instrument. The clip is engraved with James Madison's portrait and has a delicate yellow quartz gemstone.
''America's Signatures" for Freedom is engraved on the handcrafted 18k yellow gold nib and complemented with 13 stars to commemorate the States that adopted the Declaration of Independence in the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776 and signed it a month later. The Limited Edition, crowned by the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl, is embellished with James Madison's signature and with his dates of office.
The present piece is in very good condition and accompanied by a presentation box, Certificate and leather bound book.
