The present lot is a great collector's watch and no less than a perpetual calendar from the famed manufacture Audemars Piguet. While often known for their Royal Oak models, the craftsmen in Le Brassus originally focused on more traditional and complicated pieces such as the present lot. Offered by the original Swiss owner who acquired the piece in 1980, it has been retained in attractive used condition and is furthermore offered as a complete set with Certificate of Origin, an information card confirming the original date the calendar was set, as well as with its presentation case with outer packaging.
