Description
Dom Pérignon 2002
Good levels and appearance
In 2019, there is that immediate evidence of beautifully ripe Chardonnay, all part of the enchantment. An absolutely heavenly nose, with such pure projection and a touch of dried apricots. On the palate, there is a lovely mineral tension, but with a softness behind it - all May hedgerows. The finesse of texture is a given, as is the creaminess and length. This is a platinum vintage, although Vincent Chaperon describes it as gold! The important thing is to drink and revel in it...... Serena Sutcliffe, MW
