the gently rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, the interior with a convex medallion enclosing a long tailed phoenix in flight, the exterior similarly decorated in rich cobalt-blue tones with a pair of phoenix divided by ruyi cloud scrolls, the base inscribed with the six-character mark in underglaze-blue within a double circle
