Seal marks and period of Qianlong
清乾隆 黃地礬紅五龍圖盌一對 《大清乾隆年製》款
each superbly enamelled on the exterior in iron red against a vibrant yellow ground, depicting five sinuous dragons writhing amidst clouds scrolls above crashing waves, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark
