Sugata [configuration]: Hon-zukuri, iori-mune, pronounced tori-zori, iori-mune, chu-kissakiKitae [forging pattern]: Itame-gokoro with some mokume-hada, graduating into some masame, a faint utsuri near the shinogi

Hamon [tempering pattern]: A narrow suguha in ko-nie with small ashisunagashi ending in towards the machi

Boshi [tip]: Ko-marumidare

Horimono [carvings]: Futatsu-hi extending through to the nakago

Nakago [tang]: Possibly suriage, one mekugi-ana, yoko-yasurime, mumei

Habaki [collar]: Double clad, gold on copper

In shirasaya [plain wood scabbard]

Nagasa [length from kissaki to machi]: 69.3 cm., 27⅜ in.

Saki-haba [width at the yokote]: 3 cm., 1¼ in.
