Sugata [configuration]: Broad shinogi-zukuriiori-muneo-kissakiKitae [forging pattern]: Pronounced hada in running itame and mokume

Hamon [tempering pattern]: Narrow suguha in nie-deki

Boshi [tip]: Kaeri

Nakago [tang]: Kiri, one mekugi-anayoko yasurimemumei

Habaki [collar]: Gold double-clad

Koshirae [mount]: The upper part of the saya in ribbed (inro-kizami) red lacquer, the lower part black lacquer

In shirasaya [plain wood scabbard] with sayagaki

Nagasa [length from kissaki to machi]: 69 cm., 27⅝ in. 

Sori [curvature]: 0.9 cm., ⅜ in. 

Saki-haba [width at the yokote]: 2.3 cm., 1 in. 

Moto-haba [width at the machi]: 3 cm., 1⅛ in.
