Francis Joseph Flynn, "General Mite," and Chang Yu Sing, "Colonel Chang," were exhibited by Francis Uffner both together and separately throughout their careers. He was fond of tricks to further highlight the stature of these performers—using two-inch playbills advertising General Mite, for instance—and does so here to great effect. Also present is another regular gimmick, offering "a Challenge of £1000 to any Manager who will produce and exhibit the Equal in Contrast of his ENORMOUS GIANT and MARVELOUS TINY MITE, THE LARGEST & SMALLEST MEN IN THE WORLD."
