A collection of acts passed in the Parliament of Great Britain, particularly applying to the Province of Upper-Canada.
The Province of Upper-Canada was established in 1791 by Great Britain in order to govern lands in British North America. Prior to 1791, the area had been a part of the Province of Quebec. Characterized by its British way of life, Upper Canada served as the primary destination of Loyalist refugee settlers from the United States after the American Revolution. Upper Canada existed from its establishment on 26 December 1791 to 10 February 1841, when it was united with Lower Canada to form the Province of Canada.
