Stephen Curry Nike Hyperfuse Player Exclusive | Size 13

Stephen “Steph” Curry is known to many as the greatest shooter in NBA history. Like Michael Jordan before him, Stephen Curry has proven to be one of those exceptional players who changed and advanced the game of basketball. Curry and the Golden State Warriors have won three NBA Championships and Steph has earned himself a pair of NBA MVP Awards. 

In 2012, after recovering from several ankle injuries, Curry began to wear the Nike Hyperfuse. The sneaker’s stretch mesh feature provided a better fit for his ankle brace. During the 2012-2013 season, in similar Hyperfuse Player Exclusives, Curry set the NBA record for number of three-pointers made in a regular season (272) and gained recognition for his perimeter scoring along with teammate Klay Thompson. The dynamic duo quickly earned the famed nickname the “Splash Brothers”.

This player exclusive 2012 Hyperfuse features the Warriors’ colors. The black upper is accented with university gold Swooshes, royal blue outsoles and interior lining. Embroidered on the lateral side of each shoe is “SC30”, Curry’s initials and jersey number. The tongue of each shoe bears the “HYPERFUSE” logo. 

Curry has two Gold Medals from the 2010 and 2014 FIBA World Cup Championships, but he has not yet played at the Olympic Games.

The shoes are accompanied by a letter of provenance from Jaz Miyagi, who identifies himself as Stephen Curry’s brother-in-law. It states he was gifted the shoes directly by Stephen Curry.
