Description

NIKE, NIKE ZOOM LEBRON II, SIZE 12

Rubber, Cotton, Leather, Glue

2004

The Nike Zoom LeBron II from 2004 is the shoe that began the Dunkman logo sensation. This extremely rare sample is the infamous grey, white, and mean green color scheme. The shoe has a perforated white leather build, grey nubuck accents and an adjustable ankle strap for additional support that features the signature ‘L23’ logo. A Dunkman is embroidered beside the ‘LEBRON’ plaque at the back of the heel.

LeBron James is recognized as one of the greatest NBA players in the history of professional basketball. Debuting with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was the first overall pick of the 2003 NBA draft. James’ move from his first NBA team, the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Miami Heat in 2010 is considered one of the boldest free agent decisions in sports history. After winning two NBA championships in 2012 and 2013 for the Miami Heat, James returned to Cleveland. In 2016 he led the Cavaliers to their first NBA Championship, ending the City’s 52-year long professional sports title drought. After his 2020 Championship title with the Los Angeles Lakers, he became the only player to win the NBA Finals MVP with three different teams.

James also won the Gold Medal in the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games (and a Bronze medal in 2004). He joined Michael Jordan as the only player to win an NBA MVP award, NBA championship, NBA Finals MVP, and Olympic gold medal all in the same year. At the 2012 Olympics in London, James recorded the first triple-double in USA Olympic basketball history with 11 points, 12 assists and 14 rebounds. He notably contributed 19 points to the winning game against Spain, becoming the leading scorer in USA Men’s basketball with 273 cumulative points, a record Carmelo Anthony broke at the 2016 Olympic Games with 293.
