NIKE, NIKE AIR UPTEMPO, SIZE 12.5

Leather, Rubber, Cotton

1999

These dual signed player exclusive sneakers were worn by John Stockton during the 1999-2000 Utah Jazz season. The Hall of Famer and 10 time All-Star performer holds the record for the most career assists and steals in NBA history. He is regarded as one of the best point guards of all-time. In 1992 Stockton won Gold playing for the USA Olympic ‘Dream Team’ in Barcelona, Spain. One of the greatest basketball rosters ever assembled, his teammates included Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, and Magic Johnson. He won his second Gold Medal at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta.

During the 1992 Tournament of the Americas, John Stockton suffered a leg fracture after an accidental collision with Chicago Bulls teammate Michael Jordan. Proving his remarkable endurance and dedication, weeks after the injury, he chose to play in the Olympic game against Spain, scoring 4 points on the painful fracture.

This particular Air Props Uptempo model is signed with Stockton’s name and his number, ‘12’, inscribed on the medial side of each shoe. The sneakers feature a Utah Jazz inspired colorway with white leather uppers, purple swooshes, and purple accents.

The shoes are accompanied by a Letter of Opinion from MEARS Authentication, LLC, with an “Authentic” Final Grade, and the signatures are authenticated by Beckett.
