B Corp-certified Bruichladdich Distillery, based on the island of Islay, offers a cask of their organic single malt for the first time ever at auction. This unpeated Islay whisky was distilled in 2011 from the 2010 barley harvest and is evidence of the progressive farming practices put in place at the distillery during their relentless pursuit of flavour. After 10 years maturing in a quality ex-American oak cask, this organic single malt is ready for bottling when the winning bidder chooses. The volume of spirit within Cask No. 1161, if bottled at a strength of 60.2% abv, is expected to fill around 225 standard 70cl bottles

Conditions

Bottling and labelling included in lot price. Bruichladdich will include 10 years cask storage and insurance. 100ml Samples from the cask and regauging can be requested at biennial intervals, at no charge.
