This is an extremely rare opportunity to fill your own bespoke cask of Bladnoch single malt Scotch Whisky which will mature in the distillery’s historic bluestone warehouses for a minimum of 12 years. For the Distillers One of One, Dr. Nick Savage has hand selected an incredibly special Amontillado sherry butt coopered from European oak as a one-off private cask filling

Cask Conditions

Costs are only for spirit, cask and warehousing. Bottling etc is decided and costed when the owners desire to bottle and the design etc of the bottling at that stage. 

Bottling and labelling in iconic Bladnoch bottles on request (charges applicable)

Management of shipping process on request (shipping cost not included)

The initial warehouse period is for 12 years. Extensions to this are obviously available, depending on how the whisky matures and moreover how the owner sees fit for the maturation of their whisky. 

Regauging / sampling are part of the cask program. Owners will spend time with Nick Savage nosing and tasting at appropriate time intervals throughout the maturation period of 12 years. Casks will be stored in an accessible location and can be viewed with requisite notice.

Experience Conditions

Travel arrangements will be made within Scotland to bring you to the distillery to tour and dine, together with overnight accommodation where needed.

Should you wish to ship, store or bottle your purchases, arrangements will be made directly with the Donor of this lot. Sotheby's will provide an introduction between the relevant buyer and donor in order for this to be arranged.
