The Deposition
ivory plaque, on a red velvet stand
The body of Christ is being taken off the cross by Joseph from Arimathaea and Nicodemus, surrounded by the Virgin, Mary Magdalene and Saint John, under gothic trefoil arched vault with stylised animals on top
(ivory) 10 x 6.1 cm.; 3 15/16 x 2⅜ in. (velvet stand) 13,5 cm, 5⅓ in.

Sous un gâble et une arcature trilobée, le corps du Christ crucifié déposé par Joseph d'Arimathie and Nicodème, entourés de la Vierge, Marie Madeleine et saint Jean, le sommet flanqué d'animaux stylisés aux angles
