A group of three European textiles panels, now cushions, late 17th and 18th century


Including a pair of French mythological needlework panels, worked in polychrome wools with central landscape settings with mythological figural groups, possibly The Judgement of Midas, with Apollo and Pan, from Ovid's Metamorphoses, and another with Mercury, from Ovid's, Aeneid, both with surround of exuberant 'bizarre' foliate design, possibly previously seat upholstery panels, together with a Flemish, Oudenaarde, late 17th century, tapestry border fragment, woven with fruit and flowers and with section of narrow outer border
