An important Fabergé jewelled gold-mounted nephrite model of a pug, St Petersburg, circa 1900
carved from dark green Siberian nephrite with almost black markings, seated on its haunches, the collar set with diamonds and a bell, its eyes set with cabochon rubies, the eyes giving a very aware expression, based on a Meissen porcelain model
height 6cm; 2⅜in.
