the lid applied with a biscuit portrait of Peter I with a laurel wreath, with blue factory marks FN on the base
height 17cm; 6⅝in.
A very similar glass tankard decorated with the portrait of Tsar Alexander II can be found in the collection of The State Hermitage Museum (inventory number эрс - 1014), see T. Malinina, Imperial Glass Factory 18th - early 20th centuries, St Petersburg, 2009, p. 226.
