A Charles II broad rimmed 22-inch pewter charger, circa 1660-70
the rim with an engraved armorial possibly for Bacon or of St. John, Baronets a George III 14-inch pewter plate from the Hamilton service, the rim engraved 'H' below a ducal coronet and a smaller ensuite, similarly engraved (12¼in.) both probably late 18th/early 19th century and possibly by J & H Wardrop, Glasgow, a George II part pewter service by White & Bernard, London, circa 1730, comprising two plates (12in.) and three dishes (9in), each with the crest of a boar for Boscawen, three George II pewter dishesby John Carpenter, London, comprising a meat dish (19¼in), a poultry dish (15½in) and a main plate (10in.), three George III pewter plates by J & H Wardrop, Glasgow (9in), Two George III pewter dishes by William Scott, Edinburgh (9½in.) together with a single reeded pewter dish (13½in.), a pewter dish (13¼in.) a further distressed pewter dish (11in.) and a large copper dish from a batterie de cuisine with 'tinned' surface to one side (17in.)
