Description
Paris-Bordeaux: Discovery of the Exclusive CHANEL Experiences
The ultimate 3-day experience of CHANEL's two estates in Bordeaux, with overnight stays in both Châteaux Canon and Rauzan-Ségla, followed by the unprecedented opportunity to be received for a private visit to Mademoiselle Chanel's apartment in Paris, offering a fascinating insight into her personality. Three specially created collection cases will be presented during the trip, containing a symbolic vintage from each property alongside a copy of the “D'Une Rive à l'Autre” art book, signed by Nicolas Audebert. 2009 Rauzan-Ségla is one that can't be forgotten since it is dressed with the label designed by Karl Lagerfeld. Released in 2011, this bottle celebrates the 350th anniversary of the foundation of the estate in 1661. For Canon, 1983 is chosen, a very symbolic vintage for CHANEL as it represents the 100th anniversary of Gabrielle Chanel's birth, as well as the year that Karl Lagerfeld was appointed Artistic Director of CHANEL. Upon your arrival in Bordeaux, you will be transferred to Château Canon, where you will have lunch followed by a visit of the property's vineyards, dinner and overnight stay at the Château. The next morning, you will embark upon a beautiful trip on a classic boat from Libourne, up the Gironde estuary to Rauzan-Ségla. Following lunch on the banks of the river, at the Château's "carrelet", you will discover Rauzan-Ségla and its vineyards, before dinner and an overnight stay at the Château. The following morning, you will be transferred to Bordeaux to catch the train to Paris, where you will be welcomed for a private visit of Mademoiselle Chanel's apartment, classified as a historical monument by the French Ministry of Culture in 2013. This lot is valid for up to 3 couples, with 1 special collection case presented to each couple. To be redeemed before the end of 2023. Dates subject to restrictions, to be booked depending on availability at least 60 days in advance. Transfers by car between the Châteaux and Bordeaux, and by 1st class rail between Bordeaux and Paris Montparnasse, are included. Boat experience is dependent on tides and prevailing weather conditions.
