This film was directed by Bryan Singer and is based on the DC Comics character Superman. It is the sixth and final installment in the original Superman film series. The cast includes Brandon Routh, Kevin Spacey, and Kate Bosworth. In this film, Superman has returned after having spent five years in his homeworld Krypton. On earth, things have changed and moved on, including his love interest Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth). However, he must once again show that he can make a difference to the world, and create meaning for himself in a place that has survived without him for the past years. This challenge is bought to reality by Superman's nemesis Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey), who is plotting to rid Superman of his powers and change the shape of North America. Can Superman save the world and re-establish his place in it?
