This rare British poster does not surface very often.

This horror film was written, directed, produced and edited by David Lynch, and was his first full length film. Lynch also created the film's score and sound design. The film stars Jack Nance, Charlotte Stewart, Jeanne Bates, Judith Anna Roberts, Laurel Near and Jack Fisk. The film tells the story of Henry Spencer (played by Jack Nance), who has fathered an extremely deformed baby, who screams all day and night, driving him and his discontent and miserable girlfriend close to madness. All this is set against a stark industrial backdrop, which is made more bleak by the fact that the film is shot in black and white.
