Ex coll. Cav. Gian-Carlo Rossi (L. 2212)
Arthur M. Hind identifies this plate as belonging to a series of twenty ornamenal panels, seventeen of which bear the initials of Agostino Veneziano.  According to Hind in his catalogue Early Italian Engraving, "The designs undoubtedly belong to the immediate school of Raphael, possibly to some assistant such as Giovanni da Udine, who was responsible for much of the decorative painting of the Vatican Loggie." (p. 235).
