Two cloisonné enamel vases and covers
Attributed to the Kyoto Namikawa workshop
Meiji period, late 19th century
the spherical vases each with tripod feet and gilt brass mounts, decorated in various coloured cloisonné enamels and worked in gilt brass wire, with two four-clawed dragons on a mottled ochre ground, chrysanthemum (kiku) finial
Both approx. 8 cm., 3¼ in. high
