the iron oval dish with wide border on slightly raised foot, decorated in gold and silver hirazogan and nunomezogan with roundels of various flowers and foliage, including grapevine and chrysanthemums, surrounding a large roundel and a fan-shaped panel, depicting a torii gate and a landscape, the border with a wide band of grapes and trailing vine, signed Komaisei (made by the Komai workshop)
