Attributed to Hayashi Hachizaemon (circa 1850-1908)
Meiji period, late 19th century
the broad oviform vase with everted neck and rounded cover, with silver mounts including the finial modelled as a crab, the whole decorated in tones of green cloisonné enamel, intricately worked with a woven bamboo basket design
