Buccellati | Gold and Diamond Cuff-Bracelet
Of hinged design, featuring an emerald-cut diamond weighing 2.41 carats, further accented with old mine- and old European-cut diamonds within floral motifs, gross weight approximately 45 dwts, internal circumference 6 inches, signed Buccellati Italy.
Accompanied by GIA report no. 2215881134 dated July 19, 2021 stating that the center diamond weighing 2.41 carats is F color, VS1 clarity.
This uniquely beautiful, custom-designed cuff, executed by Buccellati, has exceptionally “sweet” origins. The consignor’s mother, Natalie Rubin Jaffe, had both a passion for jewelry design and the good fortune to inherit several exquisite gems from her family’s collection. Mrs. Jaffe, along with her husband Jeff Jaffe, worked directly with Buccellati to design the present bracelet. Mr. Jaffe is best known for building the Chunky Chocolate Corporation, makers of the Chunky Bar, into an iconic American treat. Mrs. Jaffe’s father, Bert Rubin, was the owner and CEO of none other than Tootsie Roll.
